Project Phoenix - Performance analyser Performance analyser supports a proactive approach to performance management of a CA Gen application. There are two elements to Performance analyser. Firstly it provides a set of reports that can be run on a model to help identify specific logic constructs that are liable to cause performance problems or where there appears to be scope for improvement. Examples include identifying READ EACH constructs that might be improved or identifying redundant or inefficiently matched views. Secondly Performance analyser provides a benchmarking facility which automatically inserts temporary logging into action diagrams so that detailed information can be collected to see how long different parts of the logic are taking to execute. The benchmarking statements can be inserted at various levels – for example to monitor the performance of one or more action blocks, or to monitor individual statements. When performance testing is complete, all the benchmarking statements that the tool added can be automatically removed. A datasheet |
